I just flipped through the book in the store, so, I haven’t made any. The patterns are tiny and look pretty simple, and the supplies are easily accessible. The end results are lovable and disgusting, and, I mean that in a excellent way. I may just buy it so I can whip up a few of these grotesque cuties for my more macabre friends……….
Can’t remember them all, but they include a zombie bride, day of the dead calavera, undertaker, vampire, zombie rabbit, surfer, thiller zombie, a fund and a puppy.
The final result is not child safe due to tiny parts. I know that kids like yucky stuff reasonably regularly, but, more sensitive kids might be disturbed by these.

I really loved the first Felties book, so I was honestly sure that this one would be just as much fun.
Felties are tiny small dolls made from craft felt. They are stitched with embroidery floss and thread, accented with beads and sequins and embroidery techniques and are just wonderful small projects for gift tie-ons, building into brooches and as tiny gifts. They are quick, affordable and a fantastic portable craft or craft to do with kids just learning to hand sew.
The Zombie Feltie book focuses on the creepy side of this craft. Just perfect for Halloween really, and the projects stitch up quick enough you could make a whole bunch small creepy cute brooches to wear through October. There are a bunch of just wonderful patterns, sewing instructions and tips on building felt simpler to work with in tiny scale. The projects include, as you’d expect, a few regular zombies. Then the authors got creative. A diminutive zombie fairy holds a scepter topped with a skull, zombie vampires, a dead duck with small bullet holes and blood, a pumpkin head zombie has sequin brains coming out of a break in the pumpkin. It’s gruesome, it’s lovable. It’s one of the cutest and most clever takes I’ve seen on horror themes in crafting.
16 full sized patterns and instructions. Just perfect for your favorite small spirit, as long your favorite spirit is ancient enough. The finished projects do have tiny parts and some of them have jagged edges.
