How refreshing to pick up a book on youth baseball and find out the leader has been education Small League for 21 years and is still education. He gives practical information. Not many leagues have fields at their fingertips whenever they want so there is a fantastic section on “Parking Lot Practices”. Not many people have a budget for a expensive batting cages or nets in their backyard so leader and coach Marty Schupak shows alternate methods. The “wild pitch” drill teaches what to do when a mistake happens. This is a simple realistic approach to youth baseball for parents and coaches of players 5-12 year olds. From tee-ball to the 12 year ancient majors, this is a fantastic resource you will keep referring to.
