This is a fantastic book!!! It has opened my mind to the black hole of a child’s mind. I would certainly recommend it all parents trying to know their toddlers. The book is written in such simple to read language that I couldn’t place the book down after I ongoing reading it. Many useful tips are also provided and I’ve learnt a fantastic deal from it.

I really loved reading this book. I read it the month before my first child was born. It is full of suggestions on how to approach educating your child. It’s mostly what should be common sense, but mostly, it says be loving and attentive, and scenery will take it’s course. You can’t force your child to be intelligent, but intelligent child need to be nurtured with like and attention to blossom. If you keep your child warm and safe and let them be children, that’s all they need to renovate.

I suppose on one hand it’s sad that we need books like this, but we are all at some level a victim of the public education system. So when all of these fads and learning cures pop up, people rush to buy them and torture their children with them. The authors of this book clarify how the mind works and learns, regularly in ways that all the junk you are buying for your children are completely incompatiable with. Teaching children comes down to simple things like talking and reading to them, allowing them to play and explore and treating them like humans, not computers. They are hard-wired to learn in what are very simple ways. I like to learn about the mind and how it influences children of all ages. This book really has agreed me up to date information to help me tell to my children, as well as the preschool children I teach. I would highly recommend this book to any person ready to learn about the mind of children and how to tell to them in a postive way.
