I wish it was told that the pages of this book I bought had earmarks and some pages were also waterlogged. I wouldn’t have bought it. I could have just spent a couple of more dollars and bought the book new.

This book is really promoting occult practices. Louise L. Hays website is full of occult books and thoughts. Louise actively promotes New Age Atheism. Such as The Worship of Fake gods and goddesses, Astrology, Channeling and Tarot cards.
Although right in a few areas. One can worry too much and get an ulcer. Many ulcers are due to bacterial infections. Many cancers and diseases are caused by Genetic Defects at Birth, such as Hemophilia and Muscular Dystrophy. Some Illnesses are caused by the way we choose to live our lives, such as smoking causing Lung growth.
This book denies the being of the Christian GOD and promotes the god or goddess within. This is nothing more than wishful thinking.
Many people such as gay folks who are dying of AIDS who are desperate for a cure are buying this book with the fake hope they can simply “wish” away thier disease.

The contents of this book are fantastic – the book though is mentioned to have gorgeous colours throughout and be worhty of a “gift”. This is not the case. This is not the original brightly coloured version, but the black and white version. this needs to be made much more clear – I was very disapointed to be sent these and not the beatiful gifts I had plotted to give.

At the insistance of an online “New Age” friend, I selected up this book. And it’s dreadful. I have tried to read it about 10 times in the last five years. It amounts to GARBAGE. Louise L. Hay has built herself a nice small empire out of this nonsense. She regurgitates the same information in nearly every book and CD. This book will NOT heal your life; get a therapist and psychotropic tablets!!! Louise L. Hay is not qualified to help us! (Two stars ’cause the pictures are pretty!!!)
