haha, i read King when i was a highschooler,(im 30 now). I loved it then. i feel King writings are geared toward entertainment. and that is what i liked about it then. I sure its an Ok book but for me with all the additional forms of visual media there is no way a book is going to do it for me. Also it reflect the two best books maybe of all SK novels were VOl 2-3 of the dark tower. they work very well. The first one was OK and the fourth novel was lame as lame is. Another thing is that I would appreciate having this novel unrestricted directly to a PDF version that I could read on my PDA while at work. I might even pay $20.

Stream of consciousness nonsense churned out so he can end the series before he dies. After the riveting plot of Wizard and Glass, it’s nearly criminal that this book was written. Give it up, king. You are done.

I am so sick of this tale, I can tell Mr.King is just reaching for storylines the whole tale is getting so idiotic. He should have written one book and left it at that. I liked the characters at first then as the tale dragged on I hoped Oy would become a giant and eat all of them and let out a huge burp!Bag of Bones was passable, at least he didn’t drag it out to 4 or 5 books. I reflect he’s lost his touch, but there comes a time when we must all place the party. He is a multi-millionare and should relax and delight in his money. He’s written alot of brilliant tales, I don’t take anything away from the talent he had. But retire while you still on top. Give a name else a chance to become world legendary and wealthy. Don’t be greedy, you had your place in the sun it’s time to give a name else a chance.

The Dark Tower has been the best thing mr. King has written. I loved all the references to the Dark tower in additional King novels. It made me reflect that all the heros from additional books were going to come together for the final fight of the dark tower. Now it looks as though Mr, king had DESTROYED what was to be the best thing he has ever written. Come on people, Does Frank Herbert Mention himself in Dune? Does Tom Clancly mention himself in the Jack Ryan Novels?? Did Tolkien Mention himself?? J.K. Rowling?????
Steve, Please, A lot of fans are very mad and upset about this. Don’t do it. If you did, there is still time to fix it. Get your name out of the books except for the front take in. I have too much time and money invested into the Dark Tower. Let the heros from your books fight a excellent fight, and if you really do retire…go out with a BANG not a whimper!!
