The product description describes both this product and another product (really the one I was looking for), as a replacement for of limiting itself to coverage of the product on whose page it appears, which is just stupid. This item is the watered down arrangement with the melody artificially inserted into the accompaniment. The listing title is vague, so a more thorough study of the product description is required to know exactly what you are purchasing.
Also, I realize that this is more of a review of the listing quality than the product quality. I will also say that I have scanned the composition and have establish it to be as disappointing as I would usually expect this type of arrangement to be. If, but, you do not sing, and want to hear the melody while you are playing the piano part, then this is for you.

I establish the piano/vocal arrangement to be very simple to follow.
Now, please know I am not a piano player, but I have yet to find an accompianist that had distress playing the pieces. The vocal arrangements are fantastic and when needed Stephen Schwartz did make the necessary changes so that songs that were duets can be done as solos.
Wicked is one of the best shows to come around in a very long time and I feel like I’m right there in Oz when I get to sing this stuff! (And I don’t want to go home!)

I like the Broadway show and adore listening to the CD. But the composition in this book is very hard to play and delight in. I’m an advanced intermediate who just plays the piano for fun, and so far, this hasn’t been fun! I’ll keep practicing – maybe it will become more enjoyable.

this book is fantastic for all piano players. it is fun and simple. also, it has the lyrics so you can sing along while you play. this book is the best.
