I bought this book for my 11 year ancient son for his half-birthday. It was very appealing, and a real eye-opener. He had ongoing asking questions about poop and I didn’t have many answers to the location of the fecal matter of different animals as well as that of his own. I learned reasonably a bit and he gets a real kick from the book when he reads it every morning after his breakfast of cheddar cheese wheels and bran flakes. My wife and I had a messy divorce and now I only get to see him on weekends when I show up to get him which is less regularly then he’d like. So this was an educational and dare I say refreshing way for us to bond. I do wish there was a turtle in this book because WHAT WOULD THEIR POOP LOOK LIKE?!

I bought this book while building a bathroom library for my daughter to read while on the potty. We’ve had excellent success with peeing, but the poop is a different tale. Thought this book might help. Although she likes to now talk about her poop, and look for it under the flaps in the book, there’s not a lot to the book. It could use a few more pages, words, flaps, etc. After all, the whole poop process takes longer than it takes her to go through all 5 pages, especially since she knows where the poop is hiden and looks there immediately. At least she likes it.

I bought this for my daughter hoping it would encourage her to get more interested in the potty. She wasn’t really that into the book (and she LOVES books!) I kept trying to get her to reread it, but she liked additional books better. I, but, thought the book was really cute. Maybe when she gets a bit older she will like it (she is 2 1/2).

This worked really excellent for my daughter. She didn’t like sitting on the toilet and waiting to go “Number 2″, but when I got this book we couldn’t read it enough. Not only did it give her something to read on the potty, it talks about different animals that go poop too. Excellent buy!
