“The End Times,” and “The Rapture,” are garbage theology. Study preterism, and learn for yourselves. If we do not change our expectations based on HISTORY, we will end up as the Proverb, “Hope deferred makes the heart grow sick.”
For Jeremiah to feed this garbage to Christians . . . for THE MONEY . . . must be a stink in the nostrils of G*d.

haven’t read the book. Would never read this sort of pop-cult pablum… I imagine it is the perfect example of opiate for the massses…
I only know about it because the leader’s name was mentioned by a woman at work who, while watching Obama getting sworn in, said that it’s “his type” that will “ruin this country, if he’s not too bone idle” and that “sad days like these are only made better when I [she] listen[s] to David Jeremiah.” so I came to Amazon and was a small astonished that she turns to end-of-days garbage to feel better about… whatever.
But I was wondering… Where in this learned text are the 4 billion Chinese figured?
I know the Middle East is the crucible where this fantastical drama will play out… but is there any thought agreed to China exerting its influence over that region for the next several hundred years and controlling oil and quashing Islamic Fundamentalism vs Crusaders/Jews, all the while forever changing the world’s paradigm from the Biblical past/philosophical continuum/narrative that you are all so fond of to one you’ve never considered?
And if there is a literal ‘day of reckoning,’ is Asia just collateral hurt? All Buddhists and Hindus and whatever else… go… wherever, while Israelites and Pentacostals ascend to Heaven?
Fascinating.

I have never read a larger piece of trash than this book. If you are into fearmongering and to misguided use of Scripture to make decisions about the world around us, this book is for you.
Full of contradictions and fleeting on solutions, this isnt worth the time to even consider and truthfully I dont know why I am wasting my time writing this review.
If you judge the end of the world is near, express joy! If you are of sane mind and judge in the inherant goodness of people and a kind and loving God, only use this book to wipe yourself after a bathroom break.

What is incorrect with the world are intolerant self-righteous radicals who want to see everyone convert to their faith. What is the difference between a muslim extremist who wants to convert his christian neighbour and a christian preacher who wants to convert his muslim neighbour? Not much, even if one ostensibly claims its by like.
If a christian converts to Islam it does not affect christianity, even if a million did, & same applies to a muslim who converts to christianity. The world will be a much better place when people like david jeremiah and others in additional religions accepts the additional as he is and stops converting him. I as a muslim have alwas denounced violence, i judge in jesus in my own way because i don’t have to judge in him like david jeremiah does, i don’t find it offensive if he doesn’t belive in Mohamed but i do find it offensive when he talks about converting me into christianity with “Like”. Converting the whole world into one faith, whichever it is, entails slaughter the likes history has never seen. History proves fanatics on both sides incorrect. There is tremendous volume of violence in christian history, david jeremiah is incorrect when he talks about radical islam as a danger to the world, its extremism in all-purpose, whether racial or religious, many faces to one evil, intolerance. Sorry to say, this book is very dissapointing in terms of tolerance and “like”.

Toughest read EVER! Seriously, it was worse than getting teeth pulled. I mean seriously can anyone like this book? I reflect its humanly impossible. It took me forever to read, I felt like every minute I was sitting through a 6 year olds piano recital.
Ok, enough venting. Although I must say that I am embarrassed that I even have to place this book on my blog. I will be much more picky when it comes to future review picks. The reason I git so frustrated with the book is because he is just adage the same thing over and over again. I really felt like the leader could have just written a 1-2 thousand word essay on the theme and been done with it.
I might like also to have a sit down with this guy to find out if he’s human. If he is I’ll want to know if he’s alive or undead. His material was dull and I reflect, beside the point.
DO I really need a proper conclusion? Only read this book if you plot to spend like three months on it, not because its thick but that you’ll be asleep 5 minutes into it.
BTW, sorry about the negativity for all you hippies out there. I’ve learned my lesson and will chose wisely next time.
