Well, although I’d like to review the actual book, I can’t because there are spaces after every single paragraph. I made it through about 10 pages and gave up. It is ridiculous for Amazon to sell something so obviously flawed…have the digital editors packed up and gone home?

…but a review of the Kindle addition. This is the third book I’ve bought on my Kindle that has had formatting issues. There are extra spaces between each paragraph. After a hour on the phone with Amazon, I got it refunded. Will be going out today to buy a paperback copy, as I judge Nora is not to be missed. Just wanted to place this up as a warning for persons who are considering buying this on their Kindle. Hold off until they get it fixed. Also…if anyone else is willing to download the sample, can you tell me if the formatting is off on your machine? They tell me it is a publisher’s problem, but it is happening too much to me for me to reflect that is the issue. Thanks.

I can not rate this book as I have not read it. I read the beginning only to learn that it was not what I was expecting. I may get into it later, but in the meantime, I don’t feel qualified to rate it.

This was a nice tale. The only problemis Roberts’ detailing of the life/activities that a professional photographer deals with on the day to day.
I do know that fiction doesn’t have to have all the truths of real life; but, a major part of the character development and tale development deals with Mac’s being a pp. The details were incorrect and not in an i before e sort of way. Incorrect in a huge way.
As a person who works closely with pp’s these descriptions and details kept pulling me out the tale.
Aside from that, it was an ok tale.

This was my first (and last) Nora Roberts book. Just one word sums it up and that’s BORING! I don’t know what all the hype is about Nora. The characters were so flat and dull and i establish my self dreading to pick it up and end it.
