I’ve yet to end reading this take in to take in, but ALREADY my thoughts on perspective have been improving. It’s really well organized and all the information is concise and powerful.
If I were to question for anything more in a second edition, it would be adding doing perspective digitally (using Photoshop and/or Illustrator) because that would take out all the manual rulers by converting to digital ones. Do people seriously still use all this ancient tools? Seems dreadfully slow in comparison to effective directly on the computer (and not having to mangle around rulers/compasses or erase pencil beneath pen)?

I have several books on the theme and this is one of the best. Certainly recommend! The book starts out with 1,2 & 3 point perspective and quickly delves into more advanced subjects that are incredibly useful in an illustration/concept art such as finding special and diagonal vanishing points, rotating grids & objects in space, finding vanishing trace, 4 & 5 point perspective. The leader does a excellent job breaking down the complexity of the theme that is perspective providing helpful and time saving tips along the way. I fervently judge time spent mastering the principles discussed in this book will give you all the tools needed to successfully solve most of the perspective problems!

I’ve been illustrating well for several years now, but this book still taught me a few new tricks.
I’m particularly glad the leader included tutorials on drawing in curvilinear perspective. I’ve seen this type of perspective used in comics reasonably a few times, but until now I’d never really known how to use it. This is one of the few perspective books I’ve seen that covers this.

I have read through and /or worked through a few perspective books. This one is by far the best I’ve come across. I prefer it material of Andrew Loomis, Jonh Montague and Phil Metzger (although all of persons have some things they do very well).
One of the best things about this book is the amount of practical exercises there are to do (which are very necessary). Also many of the exercises go all the way through to a full colour rendering, so you can really see what results these tools can make (and make them yourself).
The number of tricks and tools available are vast. It chat about curvelinear perspectives (which I’ve never seen described book before)in addition to many new (at least to me) one two and three point tricks.
I recommend this book to anyone studing perspective regardless of what additional books they have.
