Van Praagh is a charlatan, claiming to be able to conjure up the dead for grieving relatives, one of the oldest, silliest acts on planet, yet one that gullible people still fall for, akin to table-rapping or crystal balls, mediums, psychics, “spiritual” uplift. I could not recommend this text for anyone with even a slight ability to reflect. Because the “system” preys on people’s fears & superstitions, all the while building money for Van Praagh, it is not only nonsense but possibly evil, even more so than standard religions. I can find no redeeming thoughts or belief in it.

Two words: “Cold reading.” Look up James Randi. Reflect clearly before surrendering your skepticism. The need to judge is strong and seductive…and strong emotions can easily overwhelm logical thinking.

this book was okay, but not as excellent as his last book “Ghost Among Us”, which is the best book i feel that he has written to date.

The material in this book I have read before in additional books.. I liked ghosts among us much better. But unfnished business was nothing new.

Another wonderful book by James Van Praagh.
It is inspiring and offers incredible insight on our own behaviors
and persons of friends or loved ones who may have self deprecating habits, such as substance abuse etc. This book can help anyone
reflect and pinpoint why and how we cause hurdles in our lives
and how to eradicate them as well as heal ourselves so that we may go on to in excellent health more pleased lives.
