Nothing really “new” here in the way of information. Most of the suggestions are widely held as common sense. The organizing thoughts can be establish on the Internet. It’s the repeated concept of building a choice to remove mess from one’s life and go on. The leader has an impressive team of cheerleaders, including David Allen, who has written the foreword. Though redundant, it may appeal to the GTD crowd.

This book has a lot of fantastic advise. The only thing I would disagree with is the “in a week” part. If I could take a trip from all my additional responsiblities then that could take place. While it may not seem apparent at first the book’s advise is laid out well in terms of feeling immediate accomplishment. I’d recommend anyone looking to simplify their life buy this book!

I reflect the book was awesome! I reflect it had fantastic information in it. While a week, is a small unrealistic, because who wants to get up early enough on a Monday to unclutter you WHOLE closet, not I said the glide. Especially if it is followed by a whole day of work and more uncluttering. As a replacement for I split it into two weeks, did each task on the day it was assigned with the AM things the first week and the PM things the second week. It worked fantastic, even though I reflect I could go even further in a few more months..
HOWEVER! Kindle purchasers beware, there are charts that are not Kindle friendly. They get cut off and aren’t on the next page like I thought they might be. While you still get the thought, it is annoying since you only save yourself a dollar from the paperback version.
But you do save yourself more mess(hahaha)

This book is fantastic! It has fantastic suggestions for how to get rid of and maintain mess. The only thing I would have liked more of is how to organize kid’s room with lots of toys and clothes, particularly for toddlers. Also, I could have used more tips on how to organize the laundry room and garage, but otherwise fantastic book. If you have issues with organization, how to get ongoing organizing and how to maintain mess, this book will be excellent for you.

I felt this book was for the career person who needs a bit more organization in his or her life. It didn’t really fit my lifestyle, but I do reflect it is a excellent book for many people who live busy lives balancing career and home.
