The Tuck family tree is confronted with an agonizing situation when they learn that a ten-year-ancient girl and a malicious weirder now share their secret about a spring whose water prevents one from ever growing older.Amazon.com Review
Imagine coming upon a fountain of youth in a forest. To live forever–isn’t that everyone’s ideal? For the Tuck family tree, eternal life is a reality, but their result to their fate is surprising. Award winner Natalie Babbitt (Knee-Knock Rise, The Search for Tasty) outdoes herself in this sensitive, moving adventure in which 10-year-ancient Winnie Foster is kidnapped, finds herself helping a murderer out of jail, and is eventually offered the essential gift–but doesn’t know whether to accept it. Babbitt questions profound questions about the meaning of life and death, and leaves the reader with a greater appreciation for the perfect cycle of scenery. Intense and powerful, exciting and poignant, Tuck Everlasting will last forever–in the reader’s imagination. An ALA Notable Book. (Ages 9 to 12) –Emilie Coulter

i do not know the dorogatory statments in this, i like the man in the yellow suit i reflect he should drink the water and him and winnie should run away together, meaning that they should both drink the water. i also reflect that mae has gone crazey and thats why she hit the man in the yeller suit.

Tuck Everlasting Book Review

Warning, do not read Tuck Everlasting! I disliked the book and so will you. I thought the tale was hard to follow and it didn’t seem to flow.
The chapters are way too fleeting, so the leader couldn’t fit much into the book. The chapters also do not have titles, so you can’t predict what is going to take place next. I like to predict. It is my favorite thing do when I’m reading a book.
It was also terrible because it had small action and no humor. I don’t care for books like that, because I like humor. The characters are way too dull and they do not have any personalities. The characters personalities all seemed to be too much alike and there was never any drama. The only excellent part is when Mae hit the man with a gun. The rest had no action at all! Since the Tuck’s drank from the fountain of youth, they never changed and that made them not very appealing. All the book is about is a girl named Winnie, the Tucks and the fountain of youth.
I’m telling you, it’s terrible. It was like playing video games for three days straight, and that is never excellent. So never, ever read Tuck Everlasting.

This book was brilliant it was a combination of mystery, kidnapping, muder, adventure, and romance. The part I liked the most about the book was that sometimes it made you reflect like crazy but others you could just cruze through the book like you were really there. I loved how Babbit could focas so much attention on so small things like frogs. One way the leader made you reflect was that she left out the names of some people like the man in the yellow suit. The only thing that was dissapointing was the ending. I thought it was dissapointing because I wanted Winnie and Jesse to run off or the Tucks finally find a way to die or something more exciting than Winnie and her parents dieing. But still even with the small bit of the dissapointing ending the book is still no less than brilliant. Nattalie Babbit did a wonderful job on the book.
