Dana Arthur is on a job search. After many different jobs she applies for a receptionist position at Cowell and Dirk. Dana hopes that this maybe the one job that she has been searching for. Small does she know but this job requires some unique training. Executive Vice President Simon Dirk is there to train her while Mr. Cowell is away. Could Dana’s job searches finally be over?
This book is told from Dana’s point of view as if she’s telling you the tale. It is quick paced and well written. As Dana debates with herself on letting Simon do the things he does to her we learn that she is a smart and strong woman. Simon and Dana start a weird relationship. As he trains her for her positions Simon awakens sexual feelings in Dana that she did not even know she had. Dana finds herself drawn to Simon in ways that are all new to her. The two start to reflect that they have more than just a effective relationship that it may go deeper than either had plotted and they must deal with the missing part of this puzzle: Ethan Cowell.
This tale can be intense at times and it is full of strong erotic play scenes. It is not the usual romance tale so if you do not delight in BDSM you may find this tale is not for you, but I loved this book.
Dana is an independent woman and Simon is an Alpha male who ends up finding more than just a fun time and a quick lay. Each day their relationship and attraction grows stronger and in the end it could be what saves them. Juniper Bell grabs the reader from the beginning and doesn’t let go until the end. I will certainly be looking for more tales from this leader.
