I first saw a Sasek book while visiting London, England. After I got home I looked him up on Amazon and saw there were a host of Sasek books for various countries. This is a fantastic one in the series. This is a fantastic for kids and adults who have visited countries or are going to visit them or just to have in your library. Highly recommended.

…and I’m 42. I bought this book for my Godson prior to my visit to France. After I went, I read the book again with him. I fell in like with the book and bought my own copy as a keepsake. It brought back so much. It’s truly a magical book especially if you have any knowledge or like of Paris. I can’t recommend it enough.

We bought this book as we got our two and six year ancient boys psyched for Paris, but wound up falling in like with the book ourselves. Dated, sure, but so is Paris.
The best part was when we got back, because so many of the tiny things we did were in there (like boats in the fountain!). A fantastic book for everyone.
