Product Description
Is it possible to judge in both God and the law of attraction? A core argument of Rhonda Byrne’s best-selling book The Secret, the law of attraction says that thoughts are magnetic. Anyone can have whatever they want, be it excellent health, wealth, or even relationships. They need only train their minds to dwell on what they desire. But is this right?
In this companion audio book to the current media storm, leader Ed Gungor believes there is more to the tale. Respecting the real needs that have caused so many to seize on Byrne’s program of mental self-help, Gungor uncovers a more accurate representation of the power of the mind by examining the role God plays in the equation. His goal is not to attack, but to right what he says is misguided advice in a manner both compassionate and compelling. His results may surprise you!

I know that this leader states, this book isn’t meant as an attack, but the straight up facts are it is an attack. I guess everyone has their opinions and everyone states them and in the end maybe it is all about one’s opinions… but what Rhonda Byrne wrote in her book worked for me and many others I hold near and dear to my heart. There is nothing “misguided” about the book “The Secret”. THE SECRET WORKS!! Fantastic Job Rhonda Byrne on a super book.

To Brandi and all additional supposedly Christians: I also read and saw the video of the Secret by Byrne. I initially liked the thought of what the Secret had to say about the Law of Attraction. But I also detected many flaws in that book as well. The video itself was creepy watching second time around with background silent voice where you get from horror movies, but that’s another topic. Anyway, the flaw of the Secret is that it tells you that you can get absolutely everything you want in life by just thinking about it which I find it to be insulting to the intelligence of the readers. I do not judge I can be a trillionaire no matter how much I place my thoughts into it. Also, I do not judge I can bring back the dead people either. So for this book not to take in some misleading info, I had to return it and get my money back. As far as Ed Gungors book, I skim through and I liked what it said so far. I will end reading it and give my sincere review. But, the reason I’m writing now is to respond to Brandi. I find it annoying when anyone tries to impose their religion onto others by adage everything Christ said and that’s it. Kind of like adage gays are incorrect because Bible said so. Well, do we need the Bible to tell us that [...] sex is incorrect? It’s common sense. So for people who strickly use the Bible or the name of Christ is ignorant and unjustifiable to many people who don’t judge in religion or any God like figure. What I liked about the Secret is that it’s meant to be a scientific proof, kind of like gravity. So for Brandi to bring in Religion is irrelevent when we’re trying to figure out if there’s universal laws out there. I consider myself a Chrisitian but I also judge that there’s many laws of physics out in which we have not learned. So please dont’ use Christ or Bible to say that’s that or that’s it no more argument. I find it offensieve and ignorant with no mind of your own. Thanks for reading.

Chose to read this one after the “Secret”. In “There Is More To The Secret” looking for balance about half way had enough clogged this book and will not pick it up again. Establish my answers in the DVD “Secret”.

I read “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne and feel that the law of attraction is based on the principles that Jesus taught us. But I judge “The Secret” has a dark side. I am uncomfortable with the suggestion that our minds are the privileged power, and that benefiting from the law of attraction and being a Christian are mutually exclusive.
I don’t judge that human beings are “gods” that can save themselves through utilizing the law of attraction. In fact, it seems to me that “The Secret” promotes material greed, and blames the victim for the unfortunate events that occur in their lives. Jesus knew the “secret” when he died on the cross, and this “secret” does not protect us from sorrows….. suffering…..dying.
I judge that God is the essential ingredient in the law of attraction. There are countless references in the Bible about faith being the key to everything… answered prayers, peace, happiness, and most importantly our promise of eternal life.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who want to explore “The Secret” from a biblical perspective.
