Product Description
From his birth on a tiny Kentucky farm in 1877 to his decades in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the life of the extraordinary psychic, Edgar Cayce, unfolded with the air of a man destined to impact the world in a silent but profound way. His simple beginnings and the necessity for him to quit school to help support his family tree helped prepare him for a life of service to others. Then, his accidental discovery of his psychic ability to diagnose illness and specify health treatments for others set him on a life direction that he, at first, approached reluctantly. In spite of his reluctance, but, his success in healing himself, family tree members, and hundreds of additional people, most of whom he never met, made him a medical phenomenon. Edgar Cayce was a man whose contributions to our knowledge of health and spiritual development continue to transform lives around the world.

I was very disappointed in this book. After seeing the Edgar Cayce tale on the History Channel, I was keen to learn more about Cayce. This book is nothing but Christian propaganda and a huge waste of money. I learned more from the documentary on TV and various websites than from this book.

Though Cayce is intrinsically facinating, somehow Sugrue managed to make the tale of his life into one of the most dull books I have ever read. If you are interested in Cayce’s financial problems and maneuverings, there is a slim chance you’ll want this book. If you are interested in the man and his spiritual teachings, you can surely find a better reference.

This is a wonderful book that reads nearly like a fairy tale.
Awesome walk with God in the growth of our only Prophet in America to date.
Thousands cured by a humble poor man…. This is what God proposed for us and for us to carry the torch of Jesus Christ as servants to one another.

I bought this book to replace the one I’d agreed away. I don’t like to be lacking a copy. It’s one of my very favorite Edgar Cayce books.
