Does anyone know when the next ‘leap forwards’ diet book will be unrestricted? I just feel so lost lacking a new ‘diet’ to try….you know, like one that uses fancy sounding terms to make things sound official and vital and even though I have no thought whether it’s right of not even after I’ve read it, it just sounds to complex to be fake….or maybe one that will reaffirm many of my current terrible eating habits so I don’t feel guilty….and hey, if I can loose weight on it….that’s a bonus. I haven’t establish any diet book yet that fits any of the described categories above, but hey, I’m looking.
Thanks for you interest.

if the amount of block of protein is 7 grammes, then why is the suggested weight of a block of (skinless, stout free)chicken 27 grammes (1 oz). That is four times as much protein in the suggested meals than the blocks call for. If I am to eat 6 blocks of protein three times a day (for my height and fitness) then he has me on over a pound of chicken (or 18 egg whites, etc..) a day. I have never eaten this much protein per day in my life. And as far as my medical records show, I’m neither overweight nor unhealthy. The book is compelling, but doesn’t make sense with my experience.

“Sears proposes consuming meals combining foods high in protein but low in saturated fats with foods composed of complex carbohydrates from fruits and vegetables, while sinking the amount of carbohydrate such as pasta, and bread.”
What Sears doesn’t realize is that the new terminology regarding carbohydrates has switched from “complex” and “simple” to using the glycemic pointer. There are many “complex” carbohydrates that are high on the glycemic pointer…the term “complex” is very relative. And now he’s adage that pasta is not “complex”???? Pleeeease…don’t buy this book. It is inadequate and out-of-date. Sears needs to simplify this book and market it to the people who really need this type of diet, not to athletes who need privileged-carbohydrate diets.

The book “Chain of Evidence”, by Ridley Pearson. Was about a detective Joe Dartelli, who is at a crucial point in his career. When he has to make a desicion to snub evidence that links his mentor and an ex. forensic speacialist, Walter Zeller to a string of supposed suicides. As the tale unfolds you get to see it from two diffrent point of views, Joe Dartelli and from Walter Zeller’s.
So as Joe is trying to solve the crime and make sense of it all, you also get to see how Walter is comiting the crimes. It was a very appealing book that kept me so interested that I never wanted to place it down. After I finished the tale it really made me reflect about what additional types of things are happening that I have no thought about or reflect that I know, but in reality I have no clue.

The Psychochemical Response); and Dr. Rudolf Wiley (leader of BIOBALANCE: The Acid/Alkaline Solution to the Food-Mood-Health Puzzle) are light years yet to be of Mr. Sears. But then again, it appears that Mr. Sears has endeared himself to the pop culture and talking head circuit. So what’s the use of countering Sears’ nonsense with Watson’s and Wiley’s double blind placebo controlled studies. Zone on Mr. Sears! Zone on!
