Shadow Souls is so entertaining and enchanting from start to end. And what an end! Shadow Souls has intricate tale-telling that will grab the most avid readers, and brace yourself because the colors, the smells, and the parties will be an exhilarating ride. My only complaint is that it finished, and now I have to wait for the next book…

This book was awesome…I loved the others but this one kept me on the edge of my seat just trying to get to the end while still hoping it wouldn’t end. I loved it. Kinda developed a huge crush on Damon after this one. I’m excited there’s another book in the series but disappointed I’ll have to wait til July to read it. When I first ongoing reading the series I was a small disappointed it wasn’t anything like the tv show additional than the names of characters but then I was addicted to the books on their own merit. The books are fantastic and trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed in Shadow Souls! I absolutely could not place it down until it was finished.

I finished Shadow Souls this morning what a fantastic book I loved the dynamic between Damon and Elena this book explores into a whole new side of them both yet they were still the characters we have all come to like. I also loved that Bonnie, Meredith & Matt were still there but honeslty glad they were less involved as Elena, Damon & even Stefan were the focus along with the keys of course.
The only breakdown I had was that now I’m sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for Midnight to come out so I can see what happens next.

This is my favorite Vampire Diaries book. I could not place it down once I ongoing and I usually can place a book down. I am a huge fan of Damon and Elena so this book was my cup of tea. As the reviewer said above, there are some steamy scenes and then there are scenes that make you like Damon even more. Damon is loyal and exciting and the reason I have kept reading this series. Thank you Lj Smith for building such wonderful Characters. I also agree with another reviewer it was so nice to have Bonnie and Stefan and the others out of the picture and Damon and Elena at the center. As it should be
