Olivia is a FBI psychologist. She had traveled to the Greek island of Patmos for some R&R and to visit her grand mother. Olivia’s grand mother is hoping to fix Olivia up with one of the nice men on the island. Olivia isn’t interested in any of the men.
Robby has been instructed to take some time off after his last mission. From the first moment Robby lays eyes on Olivia, he feels something that he hasn’t felt in a long time. Robby wants Olivia for himself. Will there be a pleased ending in Robby and Olivia’s future when she learns that Robby is a vampire?
The Vampire and the Virgin is book eight in the Like Stake series. This is only been the second book that I have read in this series but I have loved both books. Having said this, you can read these books as stand alone novels. Olivia and Robby were the perfect couple. Robby maybe cold blooded but he is one hot vampire.
If you delight in vampires, romance and humor then you will really delight in this series. There are books where you hear all this hype and marvel if they really can live up it the hype, well I can tell you that The Vampire and the Virgin does. It is a blood sucking excellent time. Kerrelyn Sparks is on fire.

My only complaint is the take in…he doesn’t look Scottish…nor does he look like Robby.
I like reading the Like at Stake series. I was painstakingly excited for the relief of this book.
In fleeting, Robby is “forced” into a trip on the tiny Greek island of Patmos to cool his heals after what happened in the last book -don’t want to give away any spoilers here if I can. While on trip, he encounters Olivia, who was also “forced” into a trip.
After a stalker let Olivia know that she had been establish, she leaves during the day while Robby is in his death sleep. Robby wakes to find her gone. Robby tries to get in contact with her, but he is running into unknown interference. After clearing up the interference, Robby and Olivia start to get to know each additional over the phone and start their own small long distance relationship. Then Olivia’s job at the FBI crosses paths with Robby and the Vamps pursuit of the Malcontents. Robby has been getting ready to let Olivia know what he is, but is concerned with how Olivia might take that news (the CIA’s Stake-Out unit doesn’t really help with introducing the thought of vampires in a nice way to Olivia). Especially after the fact that he has been withholding this information for so long.
Don’t want to give away too much. Sparks mentions more about some of the others…this could be an introduction to them for a later book.

I loved this book, I like all of Kerrelyn Sparks books and I reflect this was one of her best maybe because I like Robby so much. I just cannot get over the take in, I know the writers have no say which is really a bring shame on because this take in was dreadfull, Gees the guys is SCOTTISH, WHAT DO THE PUBLISHERS NOT GET!! I agree with the others that the take in could have been so much better!!!!!!

The characters start out with searing chemistry. They both have abilities that they reflect are a curse and they are also searching for what they have not establish. The characters in this book are perfect for each additional. The book is quick paced and well written which makes it hard to place down. The Vampire and The Virgin is an original romance tale that affects the heart and imagination when regarding like.
I read a lot of books but this book stood out and was just wonderful. You should not be reading reviews right now but buying or ordering this book and hoping you get it on time, lol. I know you will delight in this awesome book as much as i did.
