I bought this before heading to Las Vegas for a trip. It was fantastic to read as a reference guide throughout the trip. No photos though.
Amusing observation: For all the shows, they have to list whether it’s topless or not, so when I looked Louie Anderson’s show, it said NO…just imagining if it was…oh my.
NOTE: This says it’s a 2010 issue, but it doesn’t have anything about the new CityCenter. It was written before it opened, so even though CityCenter opened in December 2009, no references are in the 2010 book…which is a small misleading. They should print this book starting in Jan 2010, not any earlier.

This book is the second edition that I’ve bought. I previously had the 2004 edition. I also buy the Unofficial Guide to Disney World every year. The information is up to date, clear and concise. Both destinations change so much from year to year that I like to keep up even if I’m not traveling that year. I just came back from Vegas, the book was spot on, and kept me in the know. This book will save you time, distress and money.

I bought this book to accompany me on a recent trip to Las Vegas. The book is an appealing read and contains loads of useful information. There are no pictures but the style of the book makes it simple to read and very informative. I particularly went for this guide book as it was very up to date which is regularly vital.

The leader(s) of this book did an brilliant job of adding flavor to the details of visiting Las Vegas. The humor, honest commentary and useful tips added momentously to my preparation of my 15th trip to Las Vegas.

Went to Vegas in December 2009 and used this book. It worked fine and we liked it a lot…only thing I would like a better would be a larger pull out map.
