I tried one of the recipes but did not like at all. Did not feel asian to me with all the butter. But, I do like the book and delight in reading it for tips and hints. I will try another recipe soon and hopefully it will turn out better.

I want to cook Asian food that tastes like Asian food. The Steamy Kitchen Cookbook has recipes that work, pictures that make you hungry and keep you on track in the kitchen, and a smart, gutsy woman at your side. My favorite? Tofu baked with an incredibly tasty and savory glaze. This one’s a keeper.
