Product Description
Intention is generally viewed as a pit-bull kind of determination propelling one to make it at all costs by never giving up on an inner picture. In this view, an attitude that combines hard work with an remorseless drive toward excellence is the way to make it. But, intention is viewed very differently in this book. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer has researched intention as a force in the universe that allows the act of creation to take place. This book explores intention—not as something you do—but as an energy you’re a part of. We’re all proposed here through the invisible power of intention. This is the first book to look at intention as a meadow of energy that you can access to start co-making your life with the power of intention.
Part I deals with the principles of intention, offering right tales and examples on ways to make the tie. Dr. Dyer identifies the attributes of the all-making universal mind of intention as creative, kind, loving, gorgeous, expanding, endlessly abundant, and receptive, explaining the importance of emulating this source of creativity. In Part II, Dr. Dyer offers an intention guide with point ways to apply the co-making principles in daily life. Part III is an exhilarating description of Dr. Dyer’s vision of a world in harmony with the universal mind of intention.Amazon.com Review
After years of spiritual study and reflection, inspirational speaker and bestselling leader Wayne Dyer has emerged a highly esteemed teacher. His current message about tapping into the power of intention may sound like excellent ancient positive thinking: just stay all ears on what you want, rather than focusing on the lack of having what you want. But the teaching here goes deeper than just controlling thoughts (although he does acknowledge that thought control is a surprisingly challenging and significant endeavor). This book might help readers land a better job, but it’s more significant for persons who are ready to detach from an ego-driven life filled with quick fixes of happiness and step into a more authentic, joyful, and mentally fulfilling life. His core teachings speak to tapping into a universal source of energy that can also be called the “power of intention.” He calls people who are consciously co-making with this energy source “connectors” and describes them as “individuals who have made themselves available for success…They don’t say With my luck things won’t work out. As a replacement for, you’re more likely to hear something like, I intend to make this and I know it will work out.” Connectors are also committed to Dyer’s “seven faces of intention”–creativity, kindness, like, beauty, expansion, plenty and receptivity, which he speaks to throughout the book. Each chapter concludes with five suggestions for apt stronger connectors, such as how to monitor one’s inner speech or shift out of low-energy beliefs. Some criticize Dyer for not giving credit to additional teachers who offer this same message, especially Jerry and Esther Hicks (A New Beginning I) and even Ralph Waldo Emerson. It’s impossible to know whether this was a deliberate omission, but it is obvious that Dyer has tapped into a growing conversation about co-making with “source.” Additional leading-edge voices in this conversation include Eckhart Tolle (The Power of Now), Shakti Gawain (Creative Visualization ) and Lynn Grabhorn (Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting). –Gail Hudson

I wish I could give this book even 1 star (I guess I am forced too), simply because the man took time to write this nonsense. But I cannot for all intensive purposes read and read again plus listen to his lectures on the source of the universe. He places the universe as somehow being GOD itself: the made thing becomes the Eternal Creator in his vaunted philosophy; and we ultimately seem to come and go back to this mysterious source from the cosmos. I reflect the term is “pantheism”; but perhaps Dwyer has taken it a step or two further. Whatever you call it, I shall simply say you take Mr Dwyer’s teachings on faith. They cannot wipe away sin nor save your immortal soul. Fine; you are a nicer person. I have no problem with people being nice to one another; but Eternity is not about winning your salvation; or losing it based on how fantastic you treat others or how wonderful you feel about yourself.
Jesus said: “I Am the Way; the Truth; and the Life. And no one can Come to the Father but by Me.” (Gospel John 14:1-9)
“Neither is their Salvation in any additional; for there is none additional Name under Heaven agreed among men whereby we must be Saved.” (Acts 4:12) I also Recommend the entire GOSPEL OF JOHN **(Especially John Ch. 1; John 3:16-18; John 8:12; John 11:25-26; Romans 10:9-10)**
“For by Grace are you saved through Faith, and this not from yourselves. It is the Gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Also Ephesians Ch. 1 thru Ch. 2:9)
So read it for a feel excellent experience, if you absolutely must. I’d prefer a excellent classic piece of literature; but the “universe” shall not wipe away your sin; nor free you from the spiritual death that proceeds from it. Only the Messiah: Yhoshu’ah (JESUS): THE LIVING GOD IN HUMAN FORM can do that.
Mr Dwyer “possesses a form of godliness; but denies the power thereof.” (2 Tim. 3:5) Which makes him in the end a very treacherous demagogue leading people down a fake path of dark so-called “enlightenment”.
“But to persons who are called of God, both Jews and Greeks: Christ the Power of God and the Wisdom of God.” (1 Cor. 1:24). There is your Right SOURCE.
IN CHRIST JESUS: THE LIVING GOD TRIUMPHANT,

*Colossians 2:8-10*
“See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fulness of the Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made Perfect, and He is the head over all rule and power.”

Wow, what a book! I’m writing this from the laptop inside my Lambourghini Gallardo, here on the Carribean island I manifested for myself. Before Dr. Dyer’s book, I was a total loser, and it was all because I didn’t have the right intentions! Plus, I was under the misconception that I should help additional people, be polite and courteous, etc. But Dr. Dyer helped me realize that the most vital thing in life was to get the world to work MY WAY! Once I understood his message, I got right to changing my intentions. And now here I am, sitting in my dream car on my own island, waiting for my gorgeous trophy wife to get done shopping. She’s buying me a Rolex!

Basically this is straight from A COURSE IN MIRACLES. I just watched the PBS special, and am pretty amazed that he makes such negative references to Dr. Phil. If he’s lacking judgement and so “connected” – seems like he’s needing a small more tie. Not that he doesn’t have fantastic things to say. But, I’ve never seen the products and the pledges so HIGH. Must be trying to support that cocaine habit.

I thought this book must be terrible, since these kinds of books usually are. As in life generally, I find there’s no point expecting much from this kind of thing, since you’re bound to be disappointed. The write-ups, but, are generally positive, and I tend to rely on the opinions of others in deciding what I reflect about this kind of thing. At the same time, my controlling ego tells me “you shouldn’t need books like this to tell you how to live your life”. I would have every intention of overcoming these barriers and gaining something from this book, but something in me keeps silently repeating the words “I don’t want to feel excellent”, and the seven faces, or energy fields, of intention continue to elude me.
Can the universal mind of intention become a reality when there are people like me not in harmony with it? How can I overcome my barriers and start to access intention as a meadow of energy? I don’t want to be left behind in co-making my life with the power of intention.
I reflect intention alone is not enough, and people regularly have to be forcibly acquainted with creativity, kindness, like, beauty, expansion, plenty and receptivity. This book only encourages people already intending to, so, despite my best intentions, I give it only 2 stars.

This book is nothing but new age (…). Everyone nowadays is looking for something to fullfill this emptiness they have in their life. Everyone has it, but you just don’t know how to fill it. Thus, everyone is searching for something. This is just another new age crock to attempt to fill that void. Why not just embrace the only thing that will fill that void – a saving relationship with Jesus. He is the only way you will fill that void. Everyone wants to fill it, but they are so worried of filling it with Jesus. Don’t buy into this stuff – it’s non-sense.
