Amazon.com Review
Robert Jordan’s bestselling Veer of Time epic is one of the most well loved fantasy series of all time for a reason. Jordan’s world is rich and complex, and he’s assembled an endearing, involving core of characters while mapping out an ambitious and engaging tale arc.
But with the previous book, Crown of Swords, and now with Path of Daggers, the series is in a bit of a holding pattern. Path continues the halting gait of the current plot line: Rand is still on the brink of losing it, all the while juggling the political machinations around him and again taking to the meadow against the Seanchan. The rest of the Two Rivers kids and company don’t seem to be moving much quicker. Egwene continues to slowly consolidate her hold as the “right” Amyrlin (finally getting closer to Tar Valon and the inevitable confrontation with Elaida), and Nynaeve and Elayne keep on wandering toward the Lion Throne, again on the run from the Seanchan. Mat Cauthon is barely mentioned, and fellow ta’veren Perrin keeps busy with politics in Ghealdan. The ending does provide promise, though, that book nine might match the pace and passion of the previous books.
If you’re already hooked, you could sooner overcome a weave of Compulsion than avoid alternative up a copy of Path of Daggers. But if you’re new to the series, start at the beginning with the engrossing, much-better-paced Eye of the World. –Paul Hughes

As stated, I’ve never read this book, but based on the negative reviews I’ve seen here, I’m sure that I would be ripping tufts of hair out of my scalp in frustration & boredom if I so much as read the 1st page. So, in closing, this book has got to be one of the worst I’ve never read!

Yo mordirin is Ismal reborn, the others are lanfear( name is last chance) and the additional two Forsaken who died in the first book. the tall fade is the paragon of his type, and is very atuned to the Dark One.

Maybe it wasn’t as coordinated as the best, so what? It was still a fantastic book, and part of one of the best series ever to be written. If you can’t look at what is excellent, best you don’t write a review!

Anyone who gives a book in this series less than 5 stars doesn’t deserve to read them. Every book surpasses the Lord of the Rings with plenty to spare and if you don’t delight in them find another book to complain about.

The path of the Daggers is about a man that who was reborn in a later time. The Man must defeat the person that he and 100 others have imprisoned in a secret place. The guy that is in there is breaking free of the prison slowly but it is giving him time to right the things he has to in the world before he does escape to give him the greater advantage in the last battle between excellent and terrible. The leader of this book is Robert Jordan but his real name is James Oliver Rigney, Jr. He has written the series of the “veer of time” he has also written some of the Conan series. The resins that I gave this book the evaluation that I did is because the book was not as excellent as the ones that came before it. It took a lot of time for him to get to the point of the tale and he went on and on about additional caricatures and left some out way too much. Over the entire book was excellent and I still will read his next on but it needs to be better than the path of the daggers
