Book Description:
THE LIST is a bit of a departure for Konrath. It’s a technothriller about a group of ten people who each have tattoos of numbers on the bottoms their feet, and don’t know why.
One of them, a Chicago Homicide cop named Tom Mankowski, has had one of these weird tattoos since birth. When he investigates a violent murder and discovers the victim also has a tattooed number, it sets the ball rolling for an adventure of historic proportions.

Downloaded the sample first. Read it. Reluctantly chose to buy the book and end what I had ongoing. Book was honest but not really that excellent.
Ending was terrible. Reminded me of the science fiction zombie battles or some kind of infantile video game.
No more ‘Konrath’ for me.

I just finished the tale mere minutes ago and loved it. It’s a real page-turner, keeping me up well past my bedtime on more than one occasion. Now I’m off to go find more by J.A. Konrath… perhaps Jack Daniels?
If you delight in action, suspense, sci-fi and don’t mind a small gore, this book is for you.
