Product Description
For years, Elisabeth Hasselbeck couldn’t figure out what was building her sick. She questioned doctors and consulted nutritionists, but no one seemed to have any answers. It wasn’t until spending time in the Australian Outback, living off the land on the grueling Survivor TV show, that, ironically, her symptoms vanished. Returning home, she pinpointed the food that made her sick — gluten, the binding element in wheat. By simply eliminating it from her diet, she was able to delight in a completely normal, healthy life. But that wasn’t all. Hasselbeck learned the heap benefits that anyone can delight in from a gluten-free diet: from weight loss and increased energy to even the alleviation of the conditions of autism.
In this all-inclusive book, Hasselbeck shares her hard-earned wisdom on living life lacking gluten and loving it. She gives you everything you need to know to start living a gluten-free life, from defining gluten – where to find it, how to read food marks – to targeting gluten-free products, making G-Free shopping lists, sharing recipes, and managing G-Free living with family tree and friends.

Just the kind of book I wanted, written by a nutritian practiced like a co host on The View. I am tired of Suzanne Sommers and all the additional celebs tryijng to make an extra buck off gullible celebrity roadies. When will the public learn. What is her medical training in this meadow? ZERO

I was just recently diagnosed with a wheat intolerance and I wanted a quick and simple guide to what a G-Free life is like and this book provided that information. It’s a simple, simple read and it got me going while I read more indepth information about living with Celiac Disease and wheat allergies. (I skipped over her drivel about her wonderful life with her incredible spouse.)
I am obviously not a fan of Elizabeth Hasselbeck so I was surprised myself that I paid money for a book she wrote or cowrote or inspired or whatever. But who better to give me a dumbed down version of living G-Free than the dumbest person on TV.

That’s the only reason I can see for the comments giving this book a five star rating. Persons reviews must have been written by her family tree and friends. This book is an atrocious pile of pure garbage about the disease. I am really mad that this book was published. If you have already bought this book throw it in a landfill where it belongs!

Why would anyone go to Barns and Noble or Boarders when you get the best selections of books, brilliant service and manner of language, plus you cannot beat the AMAZON prices. You get a tracking number and manner of language on the date promised.
Thanks,

This really isn’t worth the money. I like her but there are better books on living “g-free”
