Some excellent stuff but some of it is psycho-babble that only exists in the minds of the authors.

This book did not live up to my expectations after reading “The Five Like Languages”. I would rate it a 6 on a scale of 10 positive. It used far too many illustrations to make the point and made reading it more a labor than a joy. It could have been published in fewer pages and carried greater impact because the points are valid.

Everyone has been wronged and done done incorrect to others. Appoligising is not being weak. It is admitting that we are human and make mistakes. This book helped me to show that I am truely sorry for what I have done. It showed me how to let the additional person know that I am sincere. It also helped to truely forgive.

Its a book that teaches you the high importance of apology. How it helps maintain relationships, and how to make an apology to each person, and let them know its sincere. Because sometime you are, but the additional part doesn’t judge you. This book clarifies why and how to make it right.
Terrible part is, that after it ends explaining that (which is at about half of the book), the rest is pure b.l….. blah, blah, blah….. That’s why no fifth star.
But just read the first half, and its more than worth it.

There is so much emphasis on hard in the schools that we’ve gotten away from covering some of the basics. One of persons basics is how to make an apology in a way that brings relief from hurt, and promotes reconciliation. If more children learned the art of modulating an apology, I judge there would ultimately be less discord in the classroom, less family tree strife, and less divorce. This book is a simple read, easily palatable, and possess some truly life-changing paradigms. It would make an invaluable wedding, graduation, etc. gift.
