Didn’t really like this book. I browsed through and thought it needed more color and perhaps some pictures to get me through all the reading. I really like Ian Smith’s advice on television, but this book made me want to yawn and not go to the gym.

I’ll get right to my point. Persons who have a financial interest in this book should be ashamed, as they are clearly using the customer review section for promotion and propaganda. Just take a look at nearly ALL of the 5-star reviews, the reviewer has no additional history of reviewing products. Just this book. Which wouldn’t be suspicious if the review wasn’t so darn GLOWING, LIFE-CHANGING, etc. Hmm, reflect about that. I rely on reviews from my peers to determine the quality of a product and its weight to my life. I regularly come to Amazon to read reviews, yet have never until now felt the need to contribute. So this is my first review as well, and it is a NEGATIVE one.

This is a fantastic book. I loved the read and establish it very informative and fun. There’s a lot of weight loss books out there and to find one that really works is brilliant!

I concluded one day of Phase I. While I lost two pounds in that one day, I have no intention of continuing on this program. This was absolute torture! By the end of the day, I felt like I was going out of my mind! I also felt horrible, physically. My stomach felt hollowed out and I felt as though I had no energy. There has got to be a better way!

Something seems incorrect in some of these reviews..like to hype the book and it appears they are not written by an actual dieter. Like by a name or somebodies to promote the book.
All positive reviews are repeated twice. Positive reviews have the same style of writing like an ad. And notice the majority of the positive reviewers only reviewed this book.
I was preparation to buy the book, but based on my feelings of these reviews I pass.
Isn’t that the point of reading reviews to base an opinion on the book prior to reading it and not just reading it?
