The HARD BACK book arrived to my gift recipient BENT, and reasonably torn up. Not pleased to have a person receive a gift in such poor condition.
I had her return it, and I’ll not shop with Amazon again.

I bought this book because it came as an email offer so highly supported with “free gifts” by a long list of authors I admire: Rohn, Gittomer, Canfield, Hansen etc. The truth is that this book is nowhere in their league. It is a thin book in large type written supposedly for team management executives, yet the message (“negativity never works”) and the vocabulary seems to be directed at an audience with an elementary school education. It is just unadorned lame.

I was very disappointed with this book, I’m surprised it even establish a publisher. I could have written this book in 30 minutes, it’s superficial, has no surprising insights, and truly is written for an elementary aged audience. If there is such a thing as third grade work groups, this book is on target, otherwise, don’t waste your time and money.

Wow! This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It is perfect for schools and educational themes. I encourage all principals to read it and reflect about using the bus ticket theme with their staff. Susan Bechtol, High School Principal

I loved the message but would have liked more practical examples.
Descriptions of the ’success’ walk and the ‘thank you’ walk would have been nice…as would some more examples from ‘Marty’s book’…there’s plenty on ‘what to do’ in the book – not enough ‘how to do it’ stuff.
It annoys me that the practical approach is available (for an extra 12 dollars) from the website…that feels a small like gouging your customers.
