This is a review, for the most part, of the retailer from which this item was received. When ordered, it was not made clear that this is the UK version, narrated by a name additional than Lisette Lecat, who presents these wonderful tales so well. When received and the difference was painfully apparent, I contacted the retailer just to find out if anything could be done about exchanging the audiobook for the American version, with Lecat as narrator. That was several weeks ago and, as I write, I have not even had the courtesy of a response, negative or positive — apologetic or “kiss my foot” from the retailer; although I did receive a polite “so sorry” response from the publisher, that I had also contacted. Neither have I had any acknowledgement from Amazon regarding this complaint, additional than to let me know it is aware that I contacted the seller. So I will have to buy this audiobook twice to get what I really want, and my satisfaction with the quality of service provided by Amazon and its partners has gone down several notches. I will be extra cautious in the future, if I order anything again through Amazon.

I was disappointed that I hadn’t read carefully. When I got the CDs…it was only 5 CDs…abridged. I don’t generally ‘read’ abridged forms of books. It’s a fantastic tale, regardless!
