This is a excellent book for fitness. But, the NBC show was about loosing weight and apt a new and healthy parson, not just about building your muscles. As a reader I was missing a number of additional parts in the whole spectrum of taking care of my body. We all agree that being a couch potato while trying miraculous diets will bring us nowhere.. In my opinion the opposite is also right: focusing on “pumping irons” alone is equally fruitless. One might get better shaped body but it is not what we are looking for, are we? We need more comprehensive, holistic approach to bringing ourselves in shape. Exercise, proper food combination, external and internal body hygiene, proper breathing and relaxation methods — these are all equally vital parts of losing weight, and attaining health and fitness. I suggest checking the book titled Can We Live 150. It encompasses many of the aspects I missed in this book.

I don’t watch the show but thought the information that I previewed in the book was excellent, sound advice so I bought the book. I’m not trying to lose weight just wanted a new perspective on food choices and recipe thoughts as well as advice and a fresh perspective on exercise. This book gives it!
