I’m a newbie to jewelry building, but have read several of the top-rated books on Amazon about it. “The Beading Answer Book” holds a lot of information in a tiny package (tiny enough to carry in a purse or bag). Morris answers many of the questions I had after reading the additional books. The leader has a background in repairing beaded jewelry, and several of the tips she gives are very useful for building more durable pieces.
One tiny annoyance: neither the written explanation or the (one) drawing of a figure-eight knot is enough for me to know how to do it!
