Anything over $10 for an e-book? No way. In any case the additional reviews indicate the book sucks so no huge loss. Back to Michael Connelly for me…he treats Kindle users honestly unlike Mr. Bigshot Patterson and his apprentice.

Just like razor companies who nearly give away the razor but then screw you for the razor blades. At least Apple kept their iTune song prices reasonable. Mr. Amazon (Jeff Bezos) is running a huge risk by alienating his best customers but appears willing to run the risk.
Now will somebody please provide a review of the book and not Amazon?

I’d just like to add my argreement with everyone else that I reflect it’s OUTRAGEOUS that Amazon OR James Patterson is charging over the $9.99 for a Kindle edition of this book!! So not honest!! I feel like a name needs to re-consider and continue charging the under $10. fee!! If this continues, I will STOP ordering books and sell my Kindle!!

I’m sure Mr Patterson’s latest novel is a hit, but I won’t be reading it until the Kindle prices decrease. I agree with the fact that we are saving trees by using the electronic contrivance & it was understood that the ebooks would be under $10. What’s the point in us even having the Kindle when the ebooks cost nearly as much as the paper books. I don’t know about you (Kindle Owners) but I feel like I’ve gotten the fleeting end of the stick.

I am disgusted with myself for buying into the hype around kindle and the potential savings for content. We early adopters have bought an expensive razor and now we are being ripped off on the fee of the razor blades. Bring shame on on them and bring shame on on us. They have no printing costs, no inventory costs and no distribution costs and yet they see fit to charge $12.60 for this book. How greedy can you get.
