Loebs worse tale, which is terrible cause he is usually a fantastic writer. Pluss the fact it is drawn by one of the worst artist in the business. Forget everything you know about the human anatomy, because it no longer matters. Everyone is this book is also Asian. Superman, Batman, WonderWoman, and every body else is Asian. Also SuperGirl has an eating disorder, you don’t get the emaciated by not puking up your meals. The tale itself is dreadful, and all over the place. Pass this one up if you can. Espeicaly if you have heart problems, cause rhis will surely have suffering a heart attack.

I really loved the book. I liked how the pictures were pretty clear. I’ve permanently like Batman and Supergirl. I reflect that they should’ve gotten together, like not argueing, but this is Batman. He suspects everything.

I selected this “World’s Finest” book up hoping for some excellent, clean, mindless super-fun… Well, it worked for “mindless,” but as for the rest of it… No luck. The speech is by Jeph Loeb, who is normally a pretty sleek, entertaining writer who invests his characters with some depth, lacking building too huge a deal out of it. Here, though, the plot is exceptionally flimsy — a new Supergirl comes to Planet via spacecraft, elating Superman while setting off clock radio bells for the ever-suspicious Batman. The conflict between these two ancient friends — and later between them and Marvel Woman — over what to do with the superpowered space orphan is terribly forced and regularly nonsensical. Uncharacteristically, Superman blows his stack over the Amazon’s taking over Supergirl’s training, and then blames them (inexplicably) for building her a target for his enemies. The interpersonal drama rings fake and falls flat throughout, a failure that is compounded by the intense dull-osity of the villain: Darkseid and Apokalips, one of the most overused (and now uninteresting) uber-baddies in the DC universe.
I was really disappointed by this book. It was pretty mediocre, and not up to the high calibre of storytelling I expect from Mr. Loeb… I guess it was okay, but I can’t help but feel my money could have been better spent elsewhere.
