The reason I give this book one star is because I have compared it to additional intro to Psychology books and this was the least informative book I read.

Excellent product nearly identical to the new edition. I am very pleased to have paid less. The book itself was a small more worn than advertised, but not in any way terrible.

I am only a few chapters in currently and while the material being covered is appealing, up to this point it is honestly obvious. I do appreciate how the material is open but. Case studies are brought up which tie directly into the text building it that much simpler to gain a firm understanding of the concepts being open. Hopefully more hard information will arise as I progress through the book.

my professor chose this book for the class Intro to Psychology…and i can’t wait to sell it.
this book has the worst organization. as a replacement for of having chapters, it has “modules,” which are THE SAME THING as chapters! i reflect the authors just like the psychology behind using a different word! the information is cluttered and cramped on the pages and overflow normal concepts of margins. it is overwhelming to the eye and isn’t aesthetically pleasing. plus, from page to page, the presentation is not uniform, which just adds to the unorganized look. and the pictures are absurd – copyright costs must have been outrageous, forcing the authors/art designer to have to go with free images which look ridiculous.
further, i find the information redundant and the definitions vague.
