Like the title says I establish this book to be fleeting, sweet and concise. In additional words to the point. She seems to have establish a better way, hard and examination and error. I haven’t tried her method yet, so can’t comment on that. Perhaps, later I can do an update. I liked the book!

Meh. The format of the instructions was convoluted, set out in paragraph form as opposed to more of an instructional format. More step by step pictures would be helpful, but there is a decent resource section. I’ll probable give this away and look for something more inclusive.

Anne makes soapmaking simple — I’m a newbie and I’m still learning. This book gives just enough information to educate, lacking overwhelming. She challenges the “soap theology” of most of the additional books, but it makes sense.
I highly recommend it!

This book is right to previous reviews in that it is super simple to read, perfect instructions, and fantastic, simple recipes. Yes, more than one, more than a few, I judge there are about ten fool-proof recipes. I had no clue what went into soap building, and heeding to all the warnings about being uber careful with lye, I was in no hasten to do anything more than craft simple bars. After my first batch, though, I was already ballsy enough to tamper with my own recipes (not that I recommend that – I’m just recommending the book). This book was the Pandora’s box for my soap building passion! It’s a fantastic learning experience will all the protection built in. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to get ongoing the right way with soap building. Modify after apt comfortable with what she outlines in her book.
