It’s obvious I’m a huge Twilight fan and I have reason for it. And I wanted to like this book and I was till the middle chapters and then things weren’t getting anywhere and the characters additional than the main two were just flat and dull. The werewolf background tale was also dull and it just didn’t intrigue me.
Yes Twilight wasn’t the best written book but your looking at an leader who’s only experience was reading. For me the Twilight books are that excellent were the writing doesn’t affect the tale which is powerful and the reason why it has millions of followers. The passion and the way it makes you feel like your in another world but seems to make you feel like your still part of this world is BEAUTIFUL. So for me I resent the fact that people permanently compare Twilight to everything. It’s gorgeous piece of art that will be sticking around for a while like it or not. And that’s ok if you don’t like them your entitled to your opinion like I am. And for this series I will probably read the next book to this series because I want to see if things get more appealing and that we another side to the additional characters additional than just talking but we’ll see.

I didn’t really like this book at all. I thought that the initial premise held promise – trying to re-write _Twilight_ with werewolves… but the changes made to the traditional werewolf myth fell flat. There was a scene with dogs that was utterly stupid – and it was obvious that this book was not researched enough. And the ending was just completely lame. There are MUCH better werewolf tales out there, for both teens and adults. I certainly would not recommend this book to anyone, particularly not teens.

The premise for this novel is probably the best part of the book itself. A young girl is rescued as she lay dying while under attack from a pack of wolves. One wolf defends her and ends up watching her from afar for several years. He visits her in human and wolf form copious times.
It turns out that he is cursed with Lycanthropy and spends the warm months as a man and the cold months as a wolf. Like burgeons and efforts to bring the couple together start.
The characters are shallow and several of the characters bear the same names as their counterparts in the Twilight series additionally leading to the perception that this is a thinly veiled attempt to cash in on the popularity of the Vampire/Human Twilight/Buffy craze. Being that there is an on-going underground (nearly factually) competition between Vampires and Lycanthropes, changing the names (but only a very few of them) and trying to sell the tale as independent is a huge rip-off!
Even if it were a rip-off, if it were a excellent tale or at least had a decent ending, there would be some redeeming reason to give a better rating. But, there is nothing here to recommend this terribly terrible tale. Even the ripped off part of the tale is poorly written!
Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

The book was dull. Wouldn’t recommend it, pretty lame tale line. The character developement was scarce, left you feeling like maybe you missed something in the tale line. A WASTE OF TIME!
