As Joseph Cornell’s classic book reached its 20th anniversary, Cornell drew upon a wealth of experience in scenery education to significantly revise and expand his book. New scenery games—favorites from the meadow – and Cornell’s typically insightful commentary makes the second edition of this special classic even more valuable to scenery lovers world-wide. The Sharing Scenery movement that Cornell pioneered has now expanded to countries all over the globe. This really helped me in getting my grand-children interested in scenery. They were permanently inquisitive, but I didn’t know how to incorporate their questions with really getting into scenery walks and talks. Fantastic book!!

I read this book with fantastic pleasure. It gives incredible thoughts on how to make your child learn scenery with all his senses and get a very personal relationship with scenery.
The activities are well introduced, with various criteria to help you find what you need quickly but the core of the book is sharing: it’s really about feeling scenery and letting one learn partly by himself what scenery means. It views scenery as non threatening which is rare now to us purely urban breeds.
If you want a guide to help your kids learn scenery in its depth and finding tremendous excitement at it too, then this is it.
