Wait for the bootleg to come out. The movie was dull and dull. First half hour was fun, but it got progressively duller as it dragged on for 2 hours more. The men, with the exception of Huge, had brief cameos and the women are getting a small too ancient for the sophomoric hi-jinxs that transpired. This movie will definately place an end to any future sequels. Receipts should be excellent for the first couple of weeks, but will fall off as word of mouth reachs everyone.

First off, not a fan of the puffy hardcover. The advantages of this book over the first SATC movie book is that it goes into more depth about the fashion and the set design, and there are interviews with the ladies (but not the men). The disadvantages are that this book lacks the tale of the movie that the first movie book had. I’m not sure why they didn’t include it, but I know I didn’t buy the DVD of the first movie because the tale was included in the book. Or maybe the movie received so much pre-press during production that the movie itself was incredibly predictable. Nothing was really a surprise and they felt they needed to make up for it with more behind-the-scenes information.

I have been a fan of SATC since day one, and this book did not disappoint me! The photographs are colorful and vibrant, showcasing the gorgeous clothes in all their glory. I especially loved how they delved into Patricia Meadow’s creative process and showed how the wardrobe is really selected. The behind the scenes interviews with cast members are also fantastic – be honest, we all want to know what they’re thinking. All in all, it’s a fantastic read, and a perfect support to the movie. For anyone who is a fan of the ladies, this book is something you’ll permanently hold onto – it’s going on my coffee table so everyone can see!

This book is fabulous. I like the behind the scenes look at the sets and the interviews with the cast members. The book really captures the essence of what SATC is about: the fashion, the girls, the guys, and how it all comes together.
If you are a fan of SATC you will like this book.

I’ve loved the show for years and was permanently jealous of their sense of style. I really loved the movie and this book is a fashionista’s dream – a wonderful reference guide to all of its couture fashion – and full of appealing and entertaining behind the scenes tales. For anyone who is a fan of the show and its movies, this is a wonderful keepsake. Let’s hope that we don’t have to wait 10 more years for more!
