This is certainly not a page turner. No doubt there are some excellent truths in the book but the style of writing makes it hard to remain interested.

I need to buy this book for required reading for my Leadership class. The beginning of the book wasn’t so terrible, but as you continue to read the writer keeps repeating the same points as in the beginning.

I initially read this book for a class to learn about to leadership. As a name new in the non-profit workforce I establish this to be surprisingly helpful. I am permanently wary of books that try an educate on how to be something, but this book was well worth the read. I learned reasonably a bit on how I could use my current leadership skills and renovate them into apt a servant leader. Greenleaf references many additional thoughts and people, which breaks up any dryness that the predictable book on leadership has. Most of the people he references have accomplish a fantastic task, and really shows how servant leadership works. It also helps you realize that this is a process, that you can’t reader the book and straight away become a servant leader. He clarifies how you must learn to be a servant first, so that later on you can renovate into a leader. I especially suggest this book if you are like me, starting in an entry level position with the hopes of apt a part of the privileged up management. This is a excellent buy, and amazon has a fantastic fee for it too!

Anyone can be a leader. Of course, there are excellent, better and best ways to approach leadership. This book clarifies the best way to approach leadership. Not just a leader but, but a fantastic leader. Greenleaf adds something extremely vital to the discussion of leadership in this book. Its an simple read and certainly worth the time. He looks at the theme of leadership through examples of fantastic leaders.
