I highly recommend this book. I have already passed this book onto many people in my life who want to grow their mind and body stronger. This book is not like additional diet/nutrition books it really teaches how accurately change your lifestyle not just your diet. In our busy lives today this book really spells out the fact that we need to slow down to delight in every moment in life and take care of ourselves. Savor also does a wonderful job of bringing in the science of health/nutrition of what food and activities are beneficial to our bodies. The resources and websites in the book are fantastic. For example, there are links to tasty recipes and suggestions for a variety of activities to get people moving. Fantastic read, fantastic message – bon apetit!

I loved this book. A refreshing and insightful look into a deep and disturbing problem. Eating disorders: distressing and debilitating, regularly leading to depression, isolation and sometimes death.
Having been at the mercy of dysfunctional eating since childhood, disassociation from my body is a familiar companion. What a relief to find a different approach through Insight and Mindfullness, point techniques to call on in persons moments of obsession and craving. Practicing the breathing techniques brought an immediate calming presence (myself?)
Simple, kind and sympathetic language against the backdrop of weighty, intelligent research and knowledge made this a very satisfying read. I learned much more about the depths of this problem and ways to heal. Not a book to be relegated to my self help pile, but kept close by as a resource to be read and re-read. Thank you for producing such a wholesome book. Arna Berg
