If you plot on driving in Europe, this map is absolutely worthless. It has no highway numbers on any roads additional than major freeways, if it shows them at all. In addition, it has very few towns shown and no landmarks. In my opinion, this map is only a basic guide, and for drivers a SERIOUS road map is necessary.

Even if you have a GPS, at some point you need a map to orient yourself. If you are disoriented in Europe, or are preparation to become disoriented in Europe, this is a excellent thing to have.

The size of the map could be a small larger otherwise pretty satisfactory. Showing many places for interests is also helpful. Yon’ll never find the map like this in Japan.

This is a map of Europe printed on a paper/plastic product that can take spills and heavy use with out damaging the map. Best map I have ever used…

This map is extremely durable, basically rip proof and completely waterproof. I had no thought that it was going to be any of these things. Really fantastic surprise as I will be traveling Europe for 3 months and I reflect this map will make it through all the hostels and beer spills that it will encounter.
