Over the last year, award-winning journalist and videographer Max Blumenthal has been behind some of the most sensational (and most amusing) exposes of Republican machinations. Whether it was his revelation that Sarah Palin was “anointed” by a Kenyan priest legendary for casting out witches, or his confronting Republican congressional leaders and John McCain’s family tree at the GOP convention about the party’s challenger to sex education (and hence, the rise in teen pregnancies like that of Palin’s daughter), or his expose of the eccentric multimillionaire theocrat behind California’s Prop 8 anti-gay marriage initaive, Blumenthal has become one of the most vital and most constantly cited journalists on how fringe movements are apt the Republican Party mainstream.
Republican Gomorrah is a bestiary of dysfunction, scandal and sordidmess from the dark heart of the forces that now have a leash on the party. It shows how persons forces are the ones that establishment Republicans-like John McCain-have to bow to if they have any hope of running for President. It shows that Sarah Palin was the logical choice of a party in the control of theocrats. But more that just an expose, Republican Gomorrah shows that many of the movement’s leading facts have more in common than just the power they mandate within conservative ranks. Their personal lives have been stained by crisis and scandal: depression, mental illness, extra-marital affairs, struggles with homosexual urges, heavy tablets, addiction to pornography, serial domestic abuse, and even murder. Inspired by the work of psychologists Erich Fromm, who asserted that the dread of freedom propels anxiety-ridden people into authoritarian settings, Blumenthal clarifies in a compelling narrative how a culture of personal crisis has defined the radical right, transforming the scenery of the Republican Party for the next generation and setting the stage for the future of American politics.

This is a one sided biased book, bashing Christianity and partnering it with conservatism.–I have an thought for you Mr. Bleumenthal–Why don’t you write an Islamic or Judaism bashing book and let’s see how that works out for you. Or better yet write both. Excellent luck with that and then you’ll get a firsthand peek at extremism.

Its amusing how the people who preach “tolerance” for religions like Islam have so much hatred for Christianity. Why do so called “liberals” demonize the christian right? Simple…Christianity gets in the way of the lefts oppressive agenda to control every aspect of your life. The totalitarian left is very excellent at pretending to be your friend while robbing you blind. “To make a flock first you must mock.” What “liberals” like to do is insult Christians and people of lower economic status(only if theyre white…in public atleast). This makes a nice group mentality and an out-group that members of the group feel free to mock. They demonize so called rednecks and christians and stereotype them as evil and stupid. This makes for hours of “liberal” fun and a smug chin stroking sense of self-satisfaction. Then the members of this oppressive agenda pretend to be the friends of poor minorities as they pit them against poor whites. Racism is a booming industry for liberals. They get to make racial conflict and profit mightily from the wreckage. Remember folks religious and racial tolerance only applies if you arent white or christian. Its ironic how so called pacifists seem to like psychological and information warfare. This book is one of several new books seeking to capitalize on the popularity of atheist literature and anti-christian sentiment. Needless to say its pure partisan propaganda. A futile attempt to try and counter the popularity of recent conservative bestsellers.

Why would anyone give this radical liberal two cents for anything he chose to write down.
“The Republican Party is a Host Body for the Christian Right and the Radical Anti-Government Movement that’s sprouting up around the country. They can cause a lot of hurt. They can cause it by repeating what we saw during the 90’s which was mass domestic terrorism. It’s a battle against the Government of the US by radical fundamentals that want to change the scenery of the Government.” Max Blumenthal
This is clear despise speech against a political view and persons that align themselves with smaller Government and anti-Government take over of private businesses such as the Insurance and Banking industries. It’s one thing to give a contrary view but page after page is nothing but personal attacks against any one of a number of facts on the Right.
Amazon.com should jump further into the book to show how much despise Max Blumenthal clearly has for the Right with his personal attacks on Sarah Palin and others. For an thought of just how fanatical this leader is check out his recent interview:

It’s simple to point out additional’s flaws, especially if you’re not apprehensive about sincerity or even-handedness.
But as Pelosi hovers around a 28% praise rating, Obama sinks due to self-inflicted wounds, and even his supporters on the left marvel what we’re doing in Afghanistan, and as the independents and moderates question Obama’s severely defective capacity for truthfulness, let’s just say this:
You can attribute whatever dysfunctions you want to Republicans but even the reviled W. only increased the deficit by 20% of what Obama is doing. Obama does not know economics. Uemployment is swelling and will probably be above 10% for all of 2010. The real unemployment rate, if you count people who have GIVEN UP, is above 16%. Read realclearmarkets.com
You want to take from people who work and give to people who consume.
You can aver that the religious right is malicious, but all of your opinion about religion really boil down to sex. And it’s one of the 10 Commandments that you cannot commit adultery. And it’s another commandment that you cannot murder — that is, commit abortion. But you want to call that “extreme.” You say you want religion, but you’re like the man who wants a beer lacking the bill or the calories.
To reiterate:
You want religion lacking the set of rules designed to protect women, families, children–and yes, men–from the destruction of random hookups. Then you want abortion to take in your tracks.
You want free stuff. You want free money. You want free sex. And you want freedom from babies.
In fleeting, you want what the world cannot give. You want only that which you can take from others.
So, take a long hard look in the mirror and stop exploiting others. Here’s a small more religion for you: remove the beam from your own eye before considering the speck in a name else’s.
Final theme: you should try being more generous. Here’s a excellent guide:

Key quote: “Sixteen months ago, Arthur C. Brooks, a professor at Syracuse University, published “Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservatism.” The surprise is that liberals are markedly less charitable than conservatives.”
Brooks is a liberal. He published a follow up in the Wall Street Journal:

I’ve been in the teaching profession for twenty years and have seen a lot of persistent nonsense from ideologues such as yourself. There appear to be three very blatant types: 1) Truly selfish liberals who don’t know how utterly mean-spirited they are; 2) Truly selfish liberals who do know their cruelty, but under no circumstances will give up their propaganda pose of pretending that it’s all the conservatives’ fault. Finally, 3) Very kindhearted liberals who don’t study these issues, and are only liberal because they were raised that way. These people usually drift into our country’s fantastic vital center known as “independents” and “ex- Democrats.”
I am sorry that I am out of patience with you today as I write this review. On Monday, when I greet my high school and college students, I will be a lot more peaceful and uncomplaining. But you’re helping nothing. Your essential aims–abortion, socialism, exploitation–are evil. Change.
