I painstakingly loved this book until I got to the end and realized that THERE IS NO RESOLUTION TO ANYTHING. THIS BOOK LEAVES YOU HANGING. I didn’t buy this book and read it for two days straight, between every break and waking moment to KNOW NOTHING at the very end. Come on Selena! My time is too precious to waste it on a cliff-hanger.

Selena Montgomery has spun a fantastic tale. The characters have real issues and real chemistry. Kell Jameson is an incredible heroin that is strong, smart and gorgeous. Luke Calder is kind, caring, courageous, smart and handsome. The chemistry Kell and Luke have seems to leap from the pages of the book.
The like scenes could have been more descriptive but overall the book was brilliant. This is my first book by Selena Montgomery but it will not be my last. Fantastic Read.

I couldn’t place this down. It is suspenseful with believable characters. I like the hearty kids too. I read Deception which I loved tremendously. This tale line is special to me because my own Grandmother helped raise about 33 foster children,many of whom became very successful. So I really liked the tale of overcoming a tough beginning because of a loving foster mother’s devotion and care. Looking forwards to the third book.

I bought this book because the previous reviews were highly rated. This is my first novel by this leader and I must say I loved it. I was really engrossed in this well written suspense. I just wish there were a small more romance. Ms. Montgomery leaves you hanging at the end so you must get her next book in the series, Deception. I can’t wait to read it! If you like mystery/romance, you will delight in this book.
