Wow! Protect & Defend certainly shows Flynn is BACK! The way Vince educates the reader about the Middle East and the intricacies of Islamic factions is perfect for us “sausage eating” Americans. Vince’s mysterious way of predicting world politics, especially in the Middle East, is frightening. The possible and real parallels in Protect & Defend in regards to Iran make it hard to judge this is fiction. In fact, an Iranian media source posted a review calling Protect & Defend “delusional”. If Iran is already starting a propaganda war against this book — then you know it struck a small to close to home.
Mitch is back in every sense of the word, from the bedroom to the executioner’s shoes this is one heck of a ride! Delight in!

I sure hope we have a few Rapp’s in real life. I suspect Harry Reid and block Shumer don’t, though.

I was so looking forwards to this new book by Mr. Flynn… And was very disappointed. The Mitch Rapp we met in earlier books, his skills and insights, is missing from this effort. The hint and detail that made the early Rapp books rewarding has been omitted or glossed over in a rush to cash in. It feels like this was pushed to the market to capitalize on the Iran political spin. Too terrible. Mr. Flynn may lose reasonably a few readers with this shallow and predictable effort. Not worth a read. If you are new to the Mitch Rapp books, read the first few and delight in them. Skip this one.

very thin. a huge disappointment.appears flynn sold his honor for a payday and delivered the bare mininum. lucky for him it is not his first book because it is a hackjob.

Don’t we hope we have a few Mitch Rapp’s out there effective on these cave men we are fighting. Everytime I see one of them in their rags and spouting their venom I wish I could place one between their eyes. Well surely we have a few Mitch’s out there arresting them one at a time. If we would ever bring all our force against them it would be over in about a day but our politicians won’t allow that. It isn’t reasonably honest. As another serviceman dies. I am getting carried away. This was a fine action novel and I have read everyone he has written and will look forwards to the next.
