I first saw this in my local library. We have ‘78 Plants & Animals Of The Pacific Northwest, but I was still hungry for more info on native plants of this area. So i sat down and I was so impressed and blown away! It answered a lot of my burning questions about gorgeous wild plants I wanted to know about and things I’d never known before! For my birthday my dad let me use his credit card and I drove straight to the bookstore and bought that book! It was and still is a cherished part of my collection!

When i first saw this book on the shelf, i allmost didnt buy it. (living too far from the Northwest Coast) Studying plants in Wyoming, Utah and Idaho this book has never failed me yet. I cannot recommend this book enough.

I bought this book for an upcoming trip to the Oregon coast. By studying it before the trip, I will be better prepared to identify the flowers, bushes, and trees I encounter. It is very perfect and has lots of pictures that will help.

This is the best native plant book for the Pacific Northwest, by a loooooong shot. This is the one book you want to get for familiarizing oneself with Pacific NW Coast Native plants.
