The photo;shop 8 screen is black with very tiny writing and icons. Most of the photos in the book are of the screen, and are too black and tiny to be of any use. The text would be more helpful if the illustrations were seeable.

The title says it all. The book is lively and intelligent. The product ‘Fundamentals 8 for Mac’ is nothing more than
a come-on for the full blown Photoshop.

This is a must addition to the the software but to follow the directions and comments in the book, the graphics place a lot to desired. The pictures are not as clear as they could be and are dark which make directions hard to follow.

This book is an outstanding reference for using PSE 8. I am impressed with the discussion on levels and additional tools within the program. I also like the access to downloadable files for practice. I would like more information on when to use the various tools, as it would be very helpful for a beginner. But, it does have logical steps on how to use things. Certainly a strong recommendation.
