I bought this book for my ten year ancient following our ’special’ talk about changes that take place to girls’ bodies. I establish it to be no-frills, helpful and (most importantly) not scary for her. It gave her information and she felt confident coming to me to question about any questions she didn’t know. I would highly recommend this book for this age range.

This book was perfect to give my daughter to help her know the changes that are happening to her body. She has questioned questions about his theme in the past but still wasn’t sure how to question some of them so I felt this book would be help to her and it was. She read it in a day and soon after she was asking questions and talking about this theme openly with me. I highly recommend it…especially since it doesn’t approach sex-ed like the additional books I researched do.

I bought the books for my step daughters who have pre-puberty stage daughters. The books are very thorough, as well as educational.
The book is very graphic, so it will not be used for educational purposes until the grand daughters are are older, and have ongoing menstruating.
