My trading ability and knowledge has never all ears heavily on the longer-term buy-and-hold style, nor on stocks for that matter, but Phil’s insight in this book has helped give me some insight and guidance that even an options-lover can appreciate! Phil’s Rule #1 book lead me to also pick up and read Payback time, and I don’t regret it. His style is simple and entertaining, while still being informative and, I despise to say it, educational!
A certain recommend if you’re trying to get some new insight on the market and a way to help get your account going in the right direction again.

After reading Rule #1 by Phil Town, I could not wait for Payback Time to be unrestricted, I read the first 2 chapters and that only made me want more. I finally got Payback Time and I really sat down and sent through the entire book in 1 day, I am tickled with the informaiton in the book and the honest approach to stock strut stock. The information on how to find a GREAT company that is undervalued is something I look forwards to using in my own trading. Fantastic Job Phil!

Phil Town’s book Payback Time could not have come at a better time for me. I had been frustrated with the performance of my IRA. My IRA had basically remained unchanged in value over the last ten years, despite my annual contributions. After reading Phil’s book, I had the confidence to change my Janus IRA into my own self directed IRA. I am excited about Phil’s concept of stockpiling and investing in my own future.
