I had high hopes for this book because I had a chance to flip through the book before I bought it. I was so excited to see so many fantastic projects from some fantastic designers, but when it came down to building one….I couldn’t find any I wanted to make. No doubt, this book has some fantastic thoughts and seems to be packed with inspiration but I had wanted to make some gifts for the holidays from this book and still haven’t made anything from it.
I gave it two stars because I keep alternative it up and it does get me excited to start sewing…just not anything from this particular book.

ONE YARD WONDERS… A fabulous book for anyone with interests in CRAFTS, especially sewing!
It is well written and very simple to know and follow its clear directions and instructions.
We plot to buy several more copies of ONE YARD WONDERS as holiday gifts for our many friends with
similar interests.

I never give a five star review, this is my first. Forget Amy Butler and all the additional so called “designer” sewing books, this one has it all! I can easily see myself building every single project in the book for myself, my home, friends, family tree….I can’t say enough excellent things about this book!
